It takes courage to expect the best. Anyone without hope can expect the worse. This is the generation of instant information. Good news does not travel fast nor sell. TV news shows cannot survive solely on positive reports. The saying Bad news travels fast is true. Joe loves watching the news, but if we are not careful, all the tragedy and bad news can cause a person to feel hopeless and miss what God wants to do in the middle of a world gone crazy. I keep saying, I know Jesus is coming soon or we are in the last days. And this may be true, but if Im not careful, all I will want to do is escape from all this mess and be Raptured out of here. God has a plan for believers in these last days. We are to arise and shine and let His glory and light be seen in our lives, no matter how dark the world gets. We are here to make a difference. We may not always hear or see the good things God is doing all over the world but when I read the scriptures and His promises I know it is happening. And Ive read the last chapter of His book, and we win! Lets be a fountain of hope; a beacon of light to everyone around us. People are looking for answers and we have them. Darkness has never intimidated God and it is not winning. We should be the light shining at the end of someones tunnel leading them out of the darkness, pointing them to Jesus. He was and is and always will be our only HOPE!
