It was 7.30am, papa Ejike had dressed up for the days work,he was combing his hairs when the wife Margret met him. She has just woken up from sleep and had noticed noise in the palour. Being anxious, she went to the palour and discovered it was papa Ejike preparing to leave the house. Immediately she demands for money to cook launch and supper meal for the family. Papa Ejike quitely told her to please excuse him for the day,that he has no money on him,that she Margret should manage what is in the house. After which Papa Ejike made some moves to leave her presence. This incited fury in Margrets attitude that she hooked him up in the trouser, calling and swearing ill words on him. Among the words she used are stupid man, lazy man and irresponsible man you married me to suffer me and Ejike abi! Irrespective of this ill words,Papa Ejike calmed down. He tried to be deplomatic yet Margret refused to let him go. Finally, papa Ejike lost patience raised his hand and hit her. This added insult to injury and the fight between papa Ejike and mama Ejike(Margret) ensured. They started breaking and tearing down the house and themselves.
