It was a best out if 3 tug-o-war with the new grade 7s! I started by giving 160 kids a sour candy from Costco! They loved them! EVERY kid also said sank you!. They are so polite but we need to work on their English! Anyways because the blue team smoked the red team in the 1st of 3 encounters, I thought Id help out a bit! The 2nd battle was won by the red team! Wanna know how they did it? Look at that huge guy with the white hat on near the end of the line! I think he had something to do with it! And yes, the blue team smoked the red team in the third battle sans the guy with the white hat! ..... As the kids rested between bouts I had a tug-war of my own! I took 6 of the smallest girls I could find and went me against them! They beat me! I then went to 5....they beat me....then 4....they beat me.....then 3....they beat me! Of course I could have smoked them badly but girls in China have such low self esteem that beating them would just worsened the problem! I didnt let them win easily! I made them struggle! What a confidence builder for a bunch of girls and to show kids its not the winning or the loosing but the participation that counts!
