It was a packed house at the LWV Dare Forum for District Attorney, Clerk of Court and Dare County Sheriff in Nags Head last evening. Excellent questions from the audience were well handled by the candidates. With regard to a question concerning th Constitutional amendment on the ballot all candidates indicated they wouldnt vote for it. Voters can go on line to UNC website or Google bench trial versus jury trial for more information. Pick up a copy of The Sentinel for Voter Guide, part one Commissioners. The Democracy insert has interviews from local residents stating their issues of concern for Dare as well as information important for the voter. Early voting begins today.
