It was a pleasure to attend the Changeover Ceremony for Mt Druitt Rotary last night - to honour outgoing President Maureen Busst (the first female president for the Mt Druitt Club) and welcome incoming President Bob White. Mt Druitt Rotary have been generous supporters of the WASH House and Outer West Domestic Violence Network for many years. We are immensely grateful for their financial support as well as the interest and goodwill for the work that we do to support women and families in the Mt Druitt district. More so, we are appreciative and inspired by these dedicated and tireless volunteers who are committed to supporting and serving their local community. The good work they do is invaluable and makes such a difference both locally and internationally. Their work is often done quietly and humbly but is deserving of more recognition and applause. So, today we say thanks to Mt Druitt Rotary for your fundraising efforts, and for everything else you contribute to the Mt Druitt community – your time, energy, wisdom and knowledge.
