It was a really long day, but Heather s OK. We only got a few hours sleep last night, we woke up at five and were at the hospital by seven. She went to pre op right away but no surgery till ten. The doctor came out to tell me she was alright around noon. She was in recovery until five when she finally got a room. She was given dilaudid and morphine among other things but she is still in a great deal of pain. When Heather got to her room Renny gave her the biggest hugs. Heather had trouble staying awake and so did Renny and I. Serenity was so good today, ten hours in a waiting room for a 18-month-old without any fuss is amazing. We all decided it would be better if I took Renny home for a nap and a bath. The nap worked out well. We are now eating dinner (Pirogies) and bath time is soon. Thank you to Donna for helping me watch Renny with me in the waiting room :D
