It was a very successful weekend for Mile 27 clients this weekend with some very impressive results. Dave Malcolm had a great race at the epic Leadville 100 mile trail run in the US finishing his first race of this distance. Veronique Bourbeau completely surpassed all expectations placing 3rd at the Berlin Wall 100 mile race. Chad Lasater found a way to challenge the top Euro runners in their own environment despite doing most of his training in Abu Dhabi and finished 3rd Male at the 201km Swiss Irontrail. Sara Emr ran a 20 minute PB at the 22km Lake Manchester QLD. Adam Connor and Dave Graham ran the Alice Springs Marathon the day after covering 200km of the Larapinta trail in a week and both ran better than expected times. Ben Duffus gave his all representing Australia in the World Long Distance Mountain Running Championships at Pikes Peak in the US (to the point he needed oxygen after the race - cant ask for much more than that!). Lisa Fox stepped up the distance at the Salomon Series 3 race in Melbourne and still finished with a big smile on her face. Craig Toomey ran a PB at the Mt Tomewin 22km race in QLD. Bry McConnell came 2nd Female in the 3 day Capital to Coast. Carl Schodde ran the 100k TMBT race in Borneo and had a fantastic run in tough conditions to finish 10th and finally Markko Junolainen opted to run the 55k distance in the same event with his partner Tuuli and they both had a great run. Well done everyone!
