It was a year in November our sweet friend Mrs. Rodgers passed away. She welcomed us to the neighborhood 17 years ago and was a great friend. Not that we needed a reminder that she was gone but not getting a Christmas card from her this year was hard. Allen has been organizing and putting Christmas things away and found a great Christmas blessing. He handed me a stack of cards we never opened in 2012. Totally feels like a sweet gift from heaven.
