It was about a year and half ago my son fell in love. Madly, deeply in love. He didnt know anything about guitars he was just mesmorized by sound. This kid that could hardly hold still, stop moving, stop talking, stop touching or stay in his seat suddenly had all the time in the world between the chords. He was in awe of the guitar and I was in awe of him. After an hour I regretfully helped him hand the guitar back to its owner. He was truely hurt as we walked away and I couldnt blame him. They were good together. Though me and his father were seperating and I could hardly afford it, I knew someday I would put a guitar in his hands that he wouldnt have to hand back. Tonight with cabin fever getting the best of us, me and the kids bundled up for a car ride. We ended up at a near by music store peering in the windows and wiping our steamy breath from the glass as we picked favorites and talked of dreams. He didnt have to remind me hed like one, his Youtube history reveals it, the riffs, the lessons, classical guitar and the greats. I dont know buddy, theyre pretty expensive...then youd need lessons....eh..maybe next year.... The idea that it may happen someday was enough for him. We all enjoyed the idea with him and showed off our best air guitar skills while making rockin snow angels. It was a great time. It was even sweeter to me because what I knew was, some time back his uncle had found a deal and I made a purchase. As we were playing, grandma was preparring for his Birthday tomorrow. She was wrapping an electric guitar, amp and two microphones. The store front were in front of is where his lessons are. Hey Life. Thank You! ;-)
