It was an EXCELLENT evening last night at the Orillia Museum of Art & History presentation!! Thanks so much to Lynn Abernethy & Nancy Noakes-Morrison and her sister (old school chums) for coming out! And Joan Cole, I really appreciated that! There were many old family connections there, many who knew my family from Fairvalley, from Orillia. Many who knew my Great Aunt Katie as an Elder from Fairvalley but didnt know she was a Home Child. Members of the Clark family whom my father worked for at one point, the Williamsons who lived across the street from us there. And wouldnt you know, even the very man who buried my family at the Atherley cemetery showed up. WOW!! Thank you Orillia!
