It was an exciting day ,we walked from Rotonda to UST grounds. Unexpectedly and amazingly hundreds /even thosands were there already and stayed overnight in UST or in the area . I was extremely happy! I thought it impossible to see the Pope, the area was full of people, jampacked. The gate we entered had a short commotion, youth and all who wanted to get in the UST gate since the program was starting. People had been there earlier than us we arrived 6am for the Popes 945 am arrival. Most of the people who arrived earlier at 1am still could not get in or were not let in. There were more people who gathered this day unexpectedly , some we walked with from Rotonda to UST grounds also were headed off that time to Luneta earlier for the 3pm mass there. Though sad and uncertain again people passed by and said that it was final that gates were closed . i kept still and kept praying in silence.Soon after the Pope mobile motorcade started and he was seen from our gate but it was too crowded and with some agitated. We decided to move away and sit at a nr aisle with so much hope.Soon after people started flocking the gate again thre was no line we ran fast to enter the gates it was narrow and we literally squeezed ourselves in patiently with others slowly taking baby steps, while others kept complaining as they walked.Ate Ana, Patrick and I walked closely and tightly holdg each other. Alas! we got in we still walked from one place to another until we got the perfect view of the Pope at the UST park.Though we were a quadrant or two away frm the stage we saw the Pope. We were soaking wet bt looked so dry!even the rains could not stop us or pull us out. We basked in his presence ,he felt so near and we watched him with Joy. It was worth the wait, the struggle and difficulty. We thank the Lord for letting us see Pope Francis!!
