It was during the time when the walls were literally coming down - TopicsExpress

It was during the time when the walls were literally coming down within the Inn that this next discovery revealed itself. It was found inside of a closet adhered directly to a wallboard constructed of wood. The remnants of the wallpaper dating back to the 1800s had survived and beckoned for its rightful place in this restoration. It would have been impossible to ignore this find...enter Adelphi Paper Hangings... the producer of the finest quality, block-printed wallpapers available on the market today. Owned and operated by Chris Ohrstrom and Steve Larson the wallpapers they create are meticulously reproduced from the original documents. They are hand-printed by skilled artisans using the same methods and materials employed in the 18th and 19th centuries. And if you thought that wasnt enough of a find then digest the fact that these artisans are located in our own Schoharie County in the town of Sharon Springs. The color scheme, as you see it, has been re-captured exactly as is was when it was placed back in the 1800s. The pattern painstakingly reflected in every detail. Adelphi has generously donated this fabulous reproduction for us to display, in all of its glory, within the Bulls Head as we continue to move forward in its restoration. Staying true to the pattern, Steve Larson, is working with us and our designer, Joe Todd, to bring forth a color scheme to compliment what we have chosen for the first floor main dining room. We cannot wait to share it with each and every one of you. We could not be more grateful than we are for all of the assistance we continue to receive from all those so closely involved with helping us achieve our vision for the Bulls Head Inn.
