It was great to warm up with some kettlebells today during SOS Athletic Excellence bootcamp. Exercises like Turkish Get Ups, KB Swings and windmills increase heart rate, encourage enhanced mobility while providing a core, strength, stability and proprioceptive workout simultaneously.... If your working out and warming up on pieces of fixed cardio kit or are using fixed machines for a predominant part of your workout (on a regular basis) you may want to consider why... Warming up like this is much more challenging, more fun and has much greater benefits... Thanks to Lisa McDougall for the expert demonstrations :-)
