It was really a pleasure to meet Dr. C.L. Patel, and have a good conversation about the Akshardham, Robinsville , as he was here specially to attend for the Inauguration. We also briefly had a Discussion about our Vallabh Vidyanagar and its progress, and hed everything very positive about the progress as weve seen it under his control and vision as the Chairman of CVM, for the seventh straight terms. For those who may not know much about him and his input and dedication in the progress of Vallabh Vidyanagar, heres a little background about CVM and him and his successful track record. Charutar Vidya Mandal Vallabh Vidyanagar was founded in 1946, when everyone in India had already begun to feel the strong fervour of freedom. The founders of Vallabh Vidyanagar had a grand vision - progress for the society through education for the youth of rural India. Our founders had as their model the famous educational townships of Takshila and Nalanda, from the Golden Age in the history of India. And, over the next few decades, this vision of our founders was realized through team spirit, dedication and hard work. Today, after more than half a century in the life of the township, we are at the threshold of another area. In this age of the Global Village, when global interdependence and competition are upon us, we must educate and train our youngsters to keep up and keep pace with the best and the brightest in the world. We must offer programmes of study appropriate to the modern age, we must maintain high standards of education - and we must offer the opportunity of learning to youngsters from Gujarat, India and the world. This is the mission to which Charutar Vidya Mandal, under my leadership, has dedicated itself. It gives me great pleasure to share our vision with our current and prospective students, patrons and colleagues. I invite all of you to join us on our journey towards a better future realized through education. ABOUT CAMPUS: -The campus is hardly 7 km far away from the milk city, Anand. This campus is known as Vallabh Vidyanagar to spread the waves of education. Lush green trees, peaceful and pollution free atmosphere has attracted the education lovers from all the corners of the world. About 30,000 studious students get education here. It provides all the facilities to them. The campus, providing a creative atmosphere to the students and the citizens, is an amalgamation of various cultures. One, who comes here once, always pampers the golden memories related to it. Today, the campus has pontentiality to meet the challanges in future. Under the leadership of Dr. C.L. Patel for the last Ten Years, E-Business, Information Science, I.T, Valuation, Industrial Hygiene, Automobile Engineering, Bio-Engineer, Bio-Tech, Ayurvedic Medicine Sophisticated Instrumentation Center for Applied Research and Testing and Institute Technology for Advance Studies and Research has been running with than 30 million dollars. NEW VALLABH VIDYANAGAR: - More than 20 Million Dollars have been invested under the guidance of a deep vision man, Dr. C.L. Patel in 100 Acre Land for Automobile Engineering, Bio-Tech, Food Processing Technology, Hospitality Management, Ayurvedic medicine etc. and thus, New Vallabh Vidyanagar has come into existence with various new courses. Chimanbhai M.U. Patel Industrial Training Institute, A.D. Patel Institute of Technology, Indukaka Ipcowala College of Farmacy, Ashok and Rita Patel Institute of Integrated study in Bio-Technology & Applied Science, Govindbhai Jorabhai Patel Ayurvedic College and Research Centre and Surajben Govindbhai Patel Ayurved Hospital are run. A new Engineering College and a new Farmacy College are under planned in the New Township. Besides, Sports-Games, Entertainments, Shopping etc. facilities are available. New Vallabh Vidyanagar is a shining Petal of Charutar Vidya Mandal with future oriented programmes, full structural facilities and Qualitative Education in the sporouting area of Magnanimousness, self-dependent and globalization.
