Its 30 days out from our next Disney Vacations yay!! Its officially list time! Yes, I make lists. I pack for 3 1/2 people. I say 3 1/2 because hubby just packs for himself. I pack myself, the boys and all the incidentals that the husbands shake their heads at before vacation and ask Do you have to bring that? and then while on vacation ask Did you bring…? PLUS, I have to make the shopping list for our pilgrimage to the Orlando Walmart. Trying to get out of that store makes me think of the departure out of Egypt scene from Charlton Hestons The Ten Commandments. There should be a large bearded man yelling Let my people go! at checkout! Although I am not naturally an organized person I have discovered that making and sticking to lists while planning and packing really makes a difference in the doing portion of a family vacation. Blisters? Got moleskin. Tummy troubles? Got Pepto. Yes I remembered razors. No, you dont have to go downstairs and pay $8.50 for a single disposable one. Fall down and skin your knee? No problem I have a little first aid kit in my purse that you think is alternately either too little to fit anything into or too big to carry around. I am Mom. Hear me Roar!!! ….yes I brought Tylenol
