Its December 1st which means its truly the start of Nutcracker Season - Sacramentos favorite holiday tradition! We kick off our performances this weekend with our first ever Community Performance - an all inclusive event for 2,000 under-served Sacramento children. We are grateful for our many wonderful sponsors who have helped us continue our mission to bring holiday cheer and inspiration to those that need it most! In addition, we have a tremendous line up of extra special perks for our Nutcracker performances this year including (but not limited to): ~ A special collaboration with Front Street Animal Shelter to help find pups a happy new home at each and every performance! ~ An Alumni Show to reminisce upon the 46 years of Nutcracker in Sacramento and to connect with old friends ~ A meet and greet with the musicians and conductor who bring Tchaikovsky magical score to life ~ A look behind the scenes to watch the dancers and stagehands prepare for the show ~ A kid friendly, bring your favorite doll or toy to the show to meet the cast of performances ~ A wear your favorite ugly holiday sweater night because ... well because fun of course! .....and many many more!
