Its Friday. Most people are HAPPY! But its also Summer....so its the slow time for me. I know many of you think Summer? Florida? Isnt that the BUSY season? Well, yes it is for the theme parks. Disney, Universal Studios and Sea World will be PACKED with tourists...but in my line of work, Special Events Entertainment....its pretty darn slow. Contrary to what people believe, the theme parks do not hire outside entertainment. They hire employees (or cast members/team members) who work for an hourly wage...for the most part. So, Im contemplating cleaning out the house (yard sale) and/or going to visit Universal Studios with my daughter tomorrow.....Hmmmmmm.....it takes work to put together a yard sale. Looks like Universal with Mattisen. If Im lucky, maybe I can meet up with my wife after her job and have a relaxing couple of hours with her and my daughter. (I wish this was more of an entertaining post...but I just havent the energy today.)
