Its Friday, and that means another conference success story! Heres one from Gail Wagner: I attended Elana Johnsons How to Write a Killer Query Letter class in 2013. It changed my life...okay, maybe not quite but something clicked. I completely rewrote my query letter and began sending it out again. Immediately I began to get more interest and got some MS requests. I eventually got picked up by Serendipity Literary! Now Im in the process of partner-publishing my novel. Also I attended Chad Morris and Tyler Whitesides How to Rock the Middle School Visit. It was amazing and entertaining to boot! Using what we learned there, myself and a couple of other authors were able to totally pull off an assembly for 8th graders! Not bad for someone who has terrible stage fright!
