Its Gear talk Wednesday ! Today Im going to take a character that is not used often, and gear that is also not used often, and show you how well they actually go together ! Lets take a look at Man of Steel General Zod. His passive lets him take 20% less damage from specials. What if we further enhance that with gear ? There are plenty of gear that increase Blocking efficiency, these are not used that much online, but they can be very useful ! If you give General Zod gear that enhance blocking, combined with his own passive, when he blocks a special move he practically takes almost no damage at all ! He becomes a Special attack Sponge. When facing a strong character like AO Batman, put him first and block, and see how he absorbs AO Batmans 2nd special. There goes your opponents advantage ! Of course he cant keep absorbing these specials forever, so another category of useful gear for him is gear that increase his Max HEALTH and allow him to HEAL on special 2 (which is his more powerful attack.) I recommend 2 gear that enhance blocking and 1 gear that Heals on 2 for him. The more evolved the better. Possible team combinations for Mos General Zod: Krypto Lex Luthor: he further increases Mos Zods health allowing him to absorb even more specials. In addition his power drain is always useful. Arkham Harley can also be a substitute. Hawkgirl: with her passive, you can tag in Zod quickly and let him absorb the special attacks protecting your other weaker characters. Anim Harley Quin: her power generation and damage increase serve Zod well. Remeber the key is to BLOCK with him, and of course the more elite and leveled up he is, the better.
