Its National Suicide Prevention Week...I wish this subject ran through my mind a lot less but unfortunately, this is something near and dear to my heart. It will be 3yrs October 13th that my dad took his life. One part PTSD mixed with one part new medication and two drs who didnt care = a recipe for disaster. This a an unnecessary way to leave the living and the ripple affect of sadness thats created is practically unbearable. So...if you or anyone you know needs help, please call 800-237-(TALK). Sometimes even talking to a stranger is all you need to be talked off the mental ledge or pointed in the right direction.
