Its Portland, the year is 2113. Its been 80 years past the "Great Disaster", and height of the cybertechnological world. The landscape is now partially decayed with many patches of over grown old growth forests amidst small rebuilding factions of society, all fighting to control it all. . . . Before the Great Disaster (B.G.D.) there was a cybernetic and biogenetics research boom, and people started testing and growing things. . . Some say this is how the Chimujin began, others say they are just another nuclear mutant, others still worship the Chimujin and revere them as Holy Beings. It is to these pioneering Chimujin followers that built the impressive Chimujin domes dotting the landscape, that the immense and eery steel statue stands erect in the center of a vast network of glass tube passageways, filled with busy speeding worker Chimujin. This vast labyrinth of glass pipelines connects various reflective glass and steel domes of varying sizes; the Chimujin controlled sector is generally referred to as "The Jar". Bordering the incalculable amount of arching domes and passageways are the dark, looming, declivitous buildings and steamy streets of the Tri-Zone sector. Referred to as "the City", it has been viciously ruled since B.G.D. by the Saragoza monarchy and maintained currently by its rotten offspring, a board of Council members and legions of A.I. "reinforcers" marching the various Access Level points by which the city is divided. Outside of the city and Chimujin sectors are widely overgrown pockets of forest oases surrounded by a vast stretches of dry, barren wasteland. These areas are fairly uncontrolled by Tri-Zone or Chimujin and are mainly overrun with gangs, marauders, small villages of plains barbarians or pockets of Elf society
