Its Sunday morning and I am sure the F1 guys are warming up around Silverstone as I sit here in the lounge at Nuremburg airport awaiting my flight to Frankfurt and then on to Madrid for a concert with the Hiromi Trio Project. However yesterday was the Meinl/Tama 40th Anniversary event at Meinls wonderful new facility just outside of Neustadt. What a beautifully planned event it was and very well attended too. All the performers - Daray, Jonny, Paul, Specki, Sebastian, Felix, Flo and Ronald - had a blast. My only regret is that I didnt get to see everyone play as I was in transit from Bilbao. But what I did see was amazing!! A big thank you to Meinl, Tama and all the guys working the show. That was a long but wonderful day!!
