Its Thursday and I did not sleep long enough. What else is new? I kept dreaming about friends who need help and losing loved ones. Did not make for a restful night. I brought it on myself though, I rested a little too much yesterday after my procedure and drank way too much coffee at brunch, but it tasted soooo soooo good after not being able to have any coffee (or tea) on Tuesday for my prep. Food never tastes so good as when youve been denied it for 24 hours! Thanks to all of you who are praying for my friends, Tracy (still in intensive care but showing some improvement), Nick (in better spirits) and Jeremy (I think he has stopped throwing up, but he still works wayyy tooo many hours). Will remember all of you in my prayers today and in the coming days. It was nice though to have Doctors orders not to do anything yesterday. I watched John Wayne movies, finished a book by Janet Evanovich (very funny), talked to my sis for two hours and generally enjoyed the loving I got from my cats. Did not stress about cleaning the toilet, washing dishes or doing laundry. Did a total Scarlet OHara after all, tomorrow is another day. It was kinda fun. Nick is coming today to help out so I can keep to my No Lifting over 10 pounds for a week order. Wont be able to drive till tomorrow but we are going to visit Tracy, take her a card and pick up some fresh fruit at the grocery. I have not one single banana in the house and of course I cannot carry my own groceries tomorrow. Only bummer yesterday is I did not see any shooting stars! I went out about 1 am and walked across the street to the church parking lot where there are no trees in the way, Still could only pick out 3 stars and none of them shooting. One of the few times I miss living way out in the country! Color me disappointed. Oh well, maybe next time. At least I told some people we were supposed to have meteor showers so maybe somebody will enjoy them because of me. I do believe that God uses me that way a lot!
