Its #WildernessWednesday! BLM manages a wide number of wilderness areas in California and some of them in partnership with other agencies. The Yuki Wilderness is co-managed between BLM and the US Forest Service. The BLM portion of the wilderness is comprised of several long, brush covered ridges (Long Doe, Horse Pasture, Thatcher, and Bentley), grassland/oak meadows and some patches of timber along the higher elevations of Hayshed and Thatcher Creeks.
