Its a 2-way street. For people to respect the MMDA and its officers, they should be respectable and perform their duties properly. But from personal observation as a commuter, most MMDA officers Ive seen work half-assed and seems to be more interested in taking bribes or scamming drivers for no obvious violations. AND they always let buses make the Star Mall in EDSA-Crossing area a parking lot which is infuriating! I personally dont have much respect for them and our so-called law enforcers in general. There are but a FEW GOOD MEN in their ranks! >:( Of course drivers should always follow the law.
