Its a shame that we think we cannot mend. That we think for each - TopicsExpress

Its a shame that we think we cannot mend. That we think for each time we break something, we lose something and the hole will only grow, that the loss will stay an open wound. And the emptiness leads to nothingness rather than a new somethingness. Because something always comes out of nothing. Thats what the moss told me one day. Its a shame that we tread upon the eggshells of possibility because we think we are not durable enough for change. That we will avoid the raging storms within us, forgetting that we are made of water more than anything else and that we will always find a way to swim. Remember, floating in the water-womb of mother was our first moment of existence on the earth. If there is anything we can always do it is swim and float. It was the first thing our cells ever knew they could do. Its a shame that we will ignore our grief, claiming it as enemy. When really it is our most precious confidant, longing to show us to our freedom through process. Treasures lurk in the darkness waiting to be found when we pour out our souls into the gulf of loss. But we fear loss like it is a stranger that haunts. But really it longs to reveal how precious everything unlost is now still too. Go with it. Let your buried pain emerge. It only kills you because it is trapped inside. And it is so saddening, that we will suffocate the life out of our dreams because the illusion of control and safety ironically feels more comfortable. That to keep things monotonous and predictable is the food we think we can live on when really our soul wretches at the diet we give it. Really it is adventure and risk that sings the song of our hearts in entirety. Security is something the soul needs nothing from once it realizes the haven is everywhere. ~S.C Lourie
