Its a vacation day because Im headed to Austin for Amanda Palmers book signing at BookPeople in Austin. Looking forward to hearing her talk and hopefully perform a song or two. On this 24th Day of Gratitude, Im going to give thanks for the many book signings Ive attended. Because of great bookstores here in Dallas & Austin, Ive been able to meet Brian Wilson, Brad Meltzer, Harlan Coben, Robert Crais, Lawrence Block, Lisa Lutz, Gregory McDonald, Neil Gaiman & Robert B. Parker. I love reading and like many of us, I tend to follow writers. Im so thrilled to get the chance to meet them, thank them for the writing and to tell them that they have brought me hours of joy.
