Its about 36 hours since surgery, and my right eye hasnt been this clear (unaided) in a long time. Doc said I had the cataract of a 70 year old. Does that make me an overachiever? I still need glasses, which was not a surprise. Being glasses-free was not the objective. Getting my right eye back to the point I could see 20/20 with it (using spectacles) was the objective. So, Id say things are looking (pun totally intended) very good right now. Post-op checkup this morning was fine. Everything looked good to the doc through his slit lamp scope. And my level of irritation or aching/swelling is almost non-existent. So, color me relieved and encouraged. :D
