Its always hard to make friends at my apartment complex. I usually do it by taking the kids to the pool. Im usually pretty inept when it comes to going up to someone and introducing myself; Hi, Im Dana. Can we be friends? There was a gentleman that was there with his teenage kids. My Samantha and my friend, Carries son Gavin, were playing with them. Anyway, I finally went over to introduce myself and thought Ill make a new friend. Unfortunately, he made it very awkward and pointed out that he wasnt interested in any of my interests. Thankfully, we were almost done swimming. I turned around and yelled at Samantha Time to go! Maybe next time I try to meet friends when I am fully dressed and not in a very revealing bikini? Lol
