Its always interesting to get the backround story to song lyrics. Michael Blair told me while setting up his drum kit for tomorrows session the real inspiration behind Paul Simons Bridge over troubled water. On the road in a Seattle hotel room Paul was drawing a bath, his manager called and they got into a long discussion about whether the bridge in The Boxer really set up the last chorus. Then the tub overflowed, hence the bridge over troubled water.
