Its always nice to receive fan mail, especially over the weekend while Im relaxing with my family. Below is an email I received, complete with a link to a right-wing propaganda video, over the weekend. As always, I appreciate everyones feedback and I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did. Mr. Powell, I do not know how old you are or how you have qualified to be writing articles but you need to reevaluate your knowledge base and qualifications. It is widely recognized that the torture report you cite is faulty (written by liberal democrats) and is deemed marginally creditable. Regardless, you seem to think Republicans are the only group that supports water boarding and other means to get answers from terrorists! I think you are biased as many democrats and independents fully support almost anything to challenge brutal terrorists. Many think that attitude will grow; surely you know that from monitoring the media and watching ISIS beheadings and such? You may be too young and uninformed to know the full impact of 9/11. I worked response operations at the scene and saw the pain, suffering, destruction and bloodshed of the aftermath. Informed Americans stay informed and see the train of terror that is in this world and for you to write such BS is dishonorable to those who have suffered and died at the hands of terrorist.
