Its been a crazy morning with high winds and a power outage from 8am to about noon.. Justin was kind enough to get out the generator and start it for me, we ran the extension cord through the dining room window and everything from the lamp, TV, DISH network and my coffee pot all up and running.. We have had several threatening gusts of wind that took the power out, back on, out and back on which always freaks me out as I know there is a loose something somewhere and it is inevitable that at some point it will go off and stay off again.. Now this isnt by far the worse thing today as I got news from my best buddy Danielle that our neighbors son was in a very serious accident last night and totaled his moms car.. He was taken to OHSU and kept over night with a concussion and a laceration to his head, I hope he is home with his Mom by now.. The other cars driver was life flighted and I have not heard how he or she is doing.. Maybe ok as the last report was that neither driver remembers what caused the collision so I assume the other driver is able to talk which is a very good sign.. Prayers going up.. Chores are all done.. extra water stored in case of another outage and horses all blanketed up for the big chill.. On the lighter side..
