Its been a frustrating week. Monday the furnace decided to have yet more issues, and John came downstairs to find water running across the basement floor. Tuesday the repairman came out and told us we would need yet another part to fix the dang thing and that the parts they already ordered from our previous problems would not arrive until Friday, leaving us without heat until next Monday when they could come and fix the whole thing. Wednesday the brand new electric blanket I bought stopped working. Thursday we found out that my vision/dental insurance that I was enrolled in as Johns dependent wanted proof of our marriage before I could use it. They waited until three weeks into the new year even though we signed up in November so I had to cancel my eye doctor appointment. Friday we discovered that the dvr was wonky and it hadnt taped anything for over a week ruining my plans to hibernate for the weekend. And now tomorrow we are expecting snow. Yay! Struggling to remind myself how lucky we really are. For the first time in my life I am really looking forward to Monday.
