Its been a little over a month since my brother passed away. Things have been busy trying to settle his estate and adjusting to the necessary changes resulting from his death. So many people have sent cards, called, or emailed. Weve read each card, pondered its contents, and thanked God for each friend who has thought of us. Some have shared stories of their loss, others have just been there with nothing to say. To each person, thank you! If youre wondering how were doing -- were still adjusting. Honestly, it doesnt get easier (at least not yet). I think about my brother every single day -- I cant help it. But in all the pain, loss, and challenge, God is still good to us. And He makes all things beautiful... in His time.
