Its been a long Time since Ive been active regularly on FB. It seems like the more connected I get to my real time in-person life, the less connected I am to other peoples on-line lives. Its a paradox Im wondering about...its nice to sneak a peak at whats happening in different realities ... To share in the joys and jubilations of experiences ... and yet I often find myself feeling .... Well, Im not exactly sure what the feeling is....maybe you can help fill in the blanks for me / for us. What is this purpose we sustain to keep experiences connected with each other on Facebook? I am curious what our lives would be like without all the social media now? Being a child of the late 60s and 70s I am in awe at the lack of awareness and appreciation of the analogue reality that is a different kind of purity and sustainability. Weve made such strides in so many ways with technology and there have been a number of amazing benefits to the social media evolution and Im grateful for the platform that exists so that I may share this conundrum. Today, I sit and play with curiosity at a world that once again looks at each others eyes instead of the screen and shares in real time over time timeless time. Big breath of gratitude for all of you who contribute to my daily living life both in line and on line.
