Its been a long time since a song actually made me mad...but here we go! I heard this on the radio this afternoon and my jaw dropped! This song offends me on so many levels. As a music fan, I think of so many talented singers who cant get record deals or airplay. As a hip hop fan, I think of the many skilled lyricists who cant get their stuff to the masses. As a parent, Im not thrilled that my children have access to this kind of musical and video content. As a concerned citizen, Im offended that theres a song about loving an illegal activity. (Suppose the lyrics were I love shooting fireman or I love being a rapist) As an artist, Im offended that someone would release such a crude, unimaginative, boring song. Baking soda, I got baking soda! Really?? UGH!!!
