Its been a while since we welcomed new members to The Crochet Crowd. We have had nearly 50,000 new members since our last welcome a few months ago. We hope you are enjoying this community and have had an opportunity to showcase your WIPS and Chains (haha). Seriously, The Crochet Crowd is about the community built by the community. Lead my myself, Mikey - Cathy (executive assistant), Diva Dan - Conceptual Designs, Colleen (Assistant Crocheter) and 100s of crocheters that frequently visit our page offering help and ideas. We ensure we are in inclusive group where all walks of life, countries and cultures can come to celebrate the art of crochet. The Crochet Crowd is 6.5 years old and we still have founding members from back in 2008. Pull up a chair, settle in, everyone is welcome. We encourage positive vibes only and exercise the notion if you have nothing nice to say, say it on a different page. To keep our community healthy, we do not allow advertising for anything other than live events and challenges that we host. We follow a set of community guidelines. We exercise them frequently to remove any drama, cyber bullying and direct advertising by permanently removing people. We hate to do it but its the only way to keep our active page healthy. With any Facebook Page, each person should check to see if there are guidelines when trying to stir up drama or business. The topic is crochet, each day, everyday with a hint of sly humour along the journey. Each day, we choose several crocheters to receive a feature position. This position is 1000% random and we do not make side deals on who we select. Its considered a top honour to be selected and we do our very best to highlight all skill levels. So if you like to hook, find new ideas, and talk with others who care about crochet as much as you do... WELCOME to The Crochet Crowd.
