Its been a whirlwind four days. Geowoodstock XII was held in St. Charles Missouri on Saturday. Thursday was some initial preparations including a Brewery Tour (tough job but someone had to do it) and four hours sleep. Friday was mass setup for the event including several events and another four hour sleep night. Saturday was the event and since I am treasurer for MOGA Events, Inc., I didnt get to move around much. On Sunday, Lisa and I went on a Winery Tour and got to visit some really nice Missouri wineries. I actually found some wines that Lisa and I could agree on. That is tough since Im more of a Boones Farm and MD 20/20 devotee. I did get to visit with Pete, Sonya, Mike, and Sharon a bit and got to see Bret and Jenn for a few minutes along with Brad, Laura and Liam. I actually saw Robert Lipe for about a minute along the way but missed saying hello to so many people. If I ignored you over the weekend, I apologize, it was totally unintentional. I was the money guy so between writing checks and keeping the money situated, I didnt get much else done. A special thanks to David and Kathy DeWitt for keeping the store sane and well organized. You made that part of my job super easy. I really, really, really, really do appreciate that. Thanks to Mike and Bridget Griffin for hosting the event this year, and to everyone involved in the planning for putting on a fantastic and extremely memorable event. Thanks to everyone who volunteered for making things run smoothly. And finally, thanks to Regions Bank for having an ATM machine that will accept loose bills and count them for you. It allowed me to get a lot of money out of my house so I could spend the rest of the weekend stress free (and broke). :)
