Its been an awesome summer, but a lot of my friends and family now find themselves in a healing phase. Richard Brock broke his foot in 9 places and tore a bunch of tendons wakeboarding with me on my birthday, Alex Shonkoff broke her leg at Burning Man, Mark Lujan got blindsided by a car on his bike and required surgery for a broken hand, Allyson Redding got bit by a dog and has had 2 surgeries as a result, Emma Nicole Chant has been battling all summer since she was born, Sarah Galusha is recovering from back surgery, Dan Reilly continues to add on to his hundreds of lifetime surgeries, and my dear grandmother, Inger Lund Hansen, tripped on a speed bump during a brisk walk (easy on the sprinting, grandma!) and broke both her kneecap and arm. Sending out love, hugs, prayers, and healing vibes to all of you, and if theres anything I can do to help let me know. All of your strength is an inspiration, and I know you will be up to full speed in no time!
