Its been on my mind since my eyes opened this morning. One year ago today my dad called me saying that he couldnt get my mom to wake up. I packed up itty bitty Lincoln and rushed over there. I slapped her face the whole way to the hospital, begging her to wake up. The next few weeks were filled with emotional ups and downs, medical and spiritual decisions to make and taught me who my true friends were. Life can and will throw us curve balls, we will all face hard times. But its all part of a bigger plan, everything happens for a reason and as hard as it is, we must accept that, learn from it, and continue to put one foot in front of the other and thank God for everything we do have and know that its His plan all along...
