Its early in October and the car vents are humming with cool air on a warm Sunday afternoon as we drive out to the hills and various crops surrounding Dookie. The suns heat is gaining momentum early in the season. We can feel it penetrating our skin as we dance to Rufus. Its going to be a hot summer. Bush fires will threaten. Patricias eyes light up in the lens of my camera. She is full of grace and may have a quiet facade but her conversation and wonder suggest her mind is loud with inquisitive thoughts and her heart beats enthusiastically for life. The sun burns on the horizon as we say good bye to the day and welcome an evening of rest by the moon. I hadnt photographed on my terms in awhile and Patricia made the perfect subject for me to collaborate with. I was excited with the release of each shutter.
