Its foggy this morning and some of that fog is pretty thick with temps in the 30s and 40s. After a rather raw day yesterday, today will be a little better, although not much. Only small rain and drizzle chances exist as the upper disturbance responsible for the light rain yesterday has moved on. We await a new disturbance that will move through later tonight into Friday. That, as well as a warm front moving through will set the stage for showers and a few thunderstorms to move into AR late tonight, Friday ending Friday night. Temps will be in the low to mid 50s this afternoon with mostly cloudy skies. Temps will only fall into the 40s and low 50s tonight and may even rise late as the warm front moves northward. Temperatures on Friday will be warmer, with 60s in most locations. Although organized severe weather is not expected on Friday, a few strong storms cannot be ruled out as along with some heavy rain totals. By Saturday, clouds should decrease with partly sunny skies seen and mild temps. Those mild temps (mainly 50s) will continue into next week. Arctic air is cut off from moving southward at this time.
