Its funny not even listening to the lyrics for some reason the music alone makes me want to get up and move..Love it..80s and 90s music Rocks.. but then as I read the lyrics ..This not just about a boxer preparing for a fight.. I think its about the fight to survive in this life ..To fight for our dreams.. the song says to rise up and to the challenge of our rival..and so what if your rival wasnt another person.but what if the rival is you.. I know my lack of self confidence or self respect or even self love..is my enemy..I cant tell you how many times I beat myself up. I kicked myself so hard with my own thoughts..Im not pretty enough..Boy that was a stupid thing..You sound like an idiot..You will never reach your dreams so just accept it.. No one likes you..you will never be good enough.,there are so many more. that keep me down.. I think the fight is the interal fight..To not believe the lies .where I got those lies may have started from the outside but I kept them inside.and the lies became my truth..To change it is the fight and is the challenge. I will not count myself out . Cool song even if its old..lol peace
