Its funny when you think you are not making any progress with what you are doing and then you stop and think about it and more is happening then you realize. Case in Point: Yesterday, I got a request for a show for December 6 (cool). Well, I am already booked for 2 shows that night in the same city and have already declined 2 other shows for the same night. I sent the person that found me on Gig Salad a message declining the invitation and offered to find someone else. Her response was, she would be interested if their reviews were as good as the ones that I have. That made me smile. Yet, I had been kicking myself saying that I need to make more happen with the things that I want to do with my life. Apparently they are already happening. Sometimes, the hardest thing we can do is just stand still and wait on the seeds that we have planted to bare fruit, sometimes we are eating the fruit and just dont realize it. I realize that you are focused, but sometimes you gotta take off the blinders and look around at where you are, how far you have came and then continue to move toward your objective(s).
