Its hard to believe she has been gone a whole year now. I was drawing her in an art class for a lesson I was teaching about portraiture when I realized it was the anniversary of our last day together. It was a sweet thing like she is still with me and I cherish that we shared the art, the music, the poetry, the chorus, the verse, the aesthetic beauty in things, the paintings, and yes, the realization that when a loved one becomes a memory, they become a treasure. A priceless treasure we will somehow never forget. And I guess I dont really have to see this video to hear her and see her. I can always see and hear her in my minds eye playing the piano and singing one of my favorite songs.
