Its here! Sorry it took me so long to get this up for you guys, I was having writers block. But here you go, the next two chapters of Olirose :) Chapter 21 Rose I wake up the next morning wrapped in Oliver’s arms. He’s still asleep, and it makes me so happy that he’s here with me. While I was petrified, the only thing I had to keep me company was the memory of the beasts face, and thinking about it now sends shivers down my spine. But I’m okay. Oliver wakes up and rolls over, smiling. “Good morning beautiful.” he says, and kisses me. “Well good morning, handsome.” I say, pulling him back. He slides his arms around me and I realize that we fell asleep in our robes. I laugh, and then I look at Oliver, falling in love with his chiseled features. His jaw, his smile, the way his eyes light up when he looks at me. “Geez. I love you so much Oliver.” I say, smiling. “I love you too, Rose. I’m so lucky to have you.” he says, pulling me tight against him. I smile and breathe in his scent, loving the smell of it. “I’ve missed you so much.” Oliver says, then kisses my forehead. He runs his fingers through my hair and smiles. “I’m just so glad you’re here... and alive.” I hug him tighter, then kiss him. “Let’s go down and get some breakfast. I’m starving. I haven’t eaten in like six months...” I say, laughing. Oliver laughs too, and then grabs my hand. “We’ll go eat, but I want to show you something first.” I smile, and then grab a piece of nutella-covered toast that the Room put out for us. “Okay.” I say, and then we walk out of the Room together to a secret corridor that leads us to a portrait. The girl in the portrait smiles. “Hey, Olie.” she says, then looks at me. “Oh my gosh! Is this her?” she squeals, and I laugh. Oliver laughs as well as he smiles, looks at me, and says, “Yes, Liza, this is Rose. My girlfriend and the love of my life.” Now it’s my turn to smile. “This is your sister?” I ask. “Yup. I met her while you were petrified. For a time, I thought Harry was the one who petrified you. And then I found Eliza and she helped me realize that Harry wouldn’t do that to you.” “No, it wasn’t Harry. It was this snake-” I start, and Oliver silences me with a kiss. “I know.” he says, leaning his forehead against mine, his warm breath hitting my face. “Okay.” I say, leaning up to kiss him again. And in that moment, everything else disappears. It’s Oliver and me, kissing, feeling feelings we haven’t felt for too long. Chapter 22 Oliver I wake up on the last day of term, feeling more sad than I have felt in a while. It’s the last day I’ll be with Rose. And for almost the entire year, I didn’t get to hold her. ‘But,’ I remind myself, ‘you’re turning seventeen in a couple weeks. You’ll get to apparate to her house whenever you want. And you can even use magic to heal her father for her.’ I smile, and get out of bed to pack my bags, but in a fit of carelessness, I wave my wand and use a spell to pack my bags for me. I head out of my dormitory down to the common room and find Rose standing there, in the middle of the common room, smiling. Waiting for me- or I hope that’s what she’s doing. “Rose.” I say, surprised. She smiles bigger. She beams. “Hey handsome.” she says, and I smile. “Why are you- I mean.. how did you...” I begin, failing to express myself. “Harry let me in. I wanted to walk you down to breakfast.” she says. I smile. “Hey, that’s my job.” I say, laughing. “Not today, it isn’t. I get the honor of walking you.” she rebukes, laughing as well. I laugh and tickle her, sending her shrieks through the common room. “No, Oliver, don’t tickle...” she says, laughing. I’m laughing as well, but I manage to get out, “You don’t know how much I’ve missed this.” before I succumb completely to laughter. By the time I’m done tickling her, we’ve fallen onto the couch and are cuddled together, laughing uncontrollably. “I... love you, Oliver.” Rose says, gasping for breath. I smile, and still laughing, lean over and kiss Rose in reply. When we break apart, Fred and George are staring at us, which makes me laugh again. “Oh, Freddie, what do we have here?” George asks. “Well, Georgie, it looks like the Olivertus Woodius has found a mate.” “Yes indeed, Freddie. The Olivertus Woodius has, and is mating with her!” I start to laugh again, which I think surprises Fred and George, and Rose laughs with me. Fred and George start to laugh and when Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny come over to see what the commotion is, I explain. Soon, the whole group of us is in a fit of laughter, something that we can’t stop. “It... hurts... to laugh!” I gasp, still laughing. This brings everyone into a new wave of laughter, and soon we’re all gasping for air, and struggling to compose ourselves. “I haven’t laughed like that in forever.” Hermione says, and I chuckle. “Yeah, it’s because you’re too busy with your nose in those books, Ms. Granger.” Fred says, winking at her. “Yeah, the elusive Granger girl who loves to read.” George adds, and Hermione just smirks. “Well, at least I know how to read.” she rebukes, and George and Fred look ashamed. For a moment. Only a moment. And then we all start to laugh again. Too soon, it’s time to go to the Hogsmeade station. I know that a semi-wonderful year is at its close, but every time I feel sad I just remind myself that I’ll be able to apparate to Rose’s house this summer. Fred, George, Ron, Hermione, Harry, Ginny, Rose, and I all crowd into a compartment, but Fred and George leave to go find their other friends. They’re replaced by Neville, and I smile. Because of how cramped it is, Rose is sitting on the ground in front of me, laying her head on my legs and running her fingers up and down my legs. I take her braid in my hands and slip the hair tie off, running my fingers through her hair as it unbraids. She sighs and shivers, and I lean forward, wrapping my arms around her. I kiss her neck and then pull her up onto my lap. Harry looks at me, and with a knowing smile, he winks. He looks around at everyone in the compartment with us, and says, “I’m going to go find the candy trolley. Anyone want to come with me?” They all look at Rose and I and laugh, and then all get up and leave. I look at Rose and smile. “Well if that’s all it took to get them out of the compartment, I would have done that ages ago.” I say, winking at her. She laughs and kisses me. We kiss until we hear a knock on the compartment door. When we break apart, it’s Malfoy. Draco Malfoy has the nerve to come to our compartment and knock. Rose gets off of my lap and heads to the door. She opens it partially, enough to talk, but not enough to let him in. “What do you want, Malfoy?” she asks, and even though I’m behind her, and I know it’s not directed at me, I feel the cold. “I... I came to apologize, Rose.” he says, sincerely. I look at his face, trying to judge if he’s sincere or not. “Malfoy...” Rose starts, and I realize she needs support, so I get up and stand behind her, lacing my arm around her. The protectiveness of the embrace seems to embolden her and she stands taller and lets her words ring clear. “Malfoy, you’ve changed. If you think that an apology is all it takes to fix our friendship, then you’re more daft than I thought you were. If you want me to be your friend again, you have to show me. This is your last chance. I’ve given you plenty. You just kept messing it up. I shouldn’t have to tell you you’re being a crappy friend, WHICH you were. So, last chance. Your apology doesn’t fix it. But if you want to be my friend, you’re gonna have to show me.” Malfoy looks at me, then back to Rose, then back to me. As he stares at me, he says, “You really are a Slytherin, Rose.” As soon as he says that, something in him breaks and his stare turns cold. He looks at Rose. “I guess I’ll see you around.” he says, then turns and strides away. I watch him go, and then I hear Rose starting to cry. I wrap my arms around her and pull her back to the seat, wiping away her tears. “I can’t believe he would call me that.” she says, then continues, almost ranting, “I mean, yeah I’m a Slytherin, but I’m not a horrible person. I did give him another chance. I’m not horrible for wanting him to know what he did wrong without me having to tell him... am I?” she asks me, and looks at me. My heart breaks, and all I want is to beat up Malfoy. I can’t stand what he did to her, making her beautiful face be, well, still beautiful, but tarnished by tears. I start to stand up, and she stops me. “No, Oliver. Don’t.” she says, and I sigh. “Fine. But only because you don’t want me to.” I say, and then I sit back down and pull her close. ~Admin SlytherinLove
