Its high time we DEAL with issues here in Barbados...right now, crime is out of hand...yet, as always, we gonna wait until it gets EXTREME to then have the big up intelligent people throw up their hands and start wondering how it got to this stage. We have youngsters glorifying ghetto mentality and doing foolish acts of violence because of sheer acclaim from their peers. We have to take back Barbados. Years ago Fingall did it with Lodge School, it was done with Springer School, Rap Brown and the police force did it back in the nineties...what the hell are we waiting for?....Well these days at least we have a voice....this forum is as good as any to let the powers that be know we serious...I dont want anyone just reading this and letting it slide because that is what we Bajans do all the damn time...let things slide until it gets unbearable...I want EVERYONE who comes across this and is in agreement to show indicate which way their support lies by at least leaving a one word comment. We simply CANNOT sit back anymore. Im also asking those brave enough to repost this...it wouldnt be a favour to me, it would be a favour to US....today I may be the victim, but at this rate, tomorrow it WILL be you..e one Barbados, we deserve better and with rallied support I am sure that we can take it a step further and insist on some intervention to bring about a change.
