Its interesting how you can have all the support in the world but one negative voice from someone very close to you can bring you down. Some people think this life is glamorous, easy, or lazy. Its not. I get more nos than yess, more maybes than probablys- youre basically always on call and never know when something will come your way (or not). Suddenly everyone is an expert in a field they know nothing about- giving you advice and telling you what to do. You invest a lot of time, energy and money fighting for something that only a small portion succeed in. You take big risks- hoping, praying and/or knowing it will pay off. There are no guarantees or promises. Sometimes you are paid, sometimes you are not. Its a cut throat world out there but if you want it YOU have to GO FOR IT. You must practice, you must be confident in your self and you must know in your heart you will make it otherwise you will be eaten alive and walked all over. You must be tough but humble- and do not let anyones voice bring you down. Not an agent, not a boyfriend or your parents, no one. Had I listened to a recent opinion I once cared about I would have never scored this lead acting role for a big project and music video.... On set today. Feeling blessed, happy and still soaking in everything thats happening! Maybe minor shock? Lol! Its crazy but love what I do!
