Its ironic that this awards show is geared towards faith-based movies; yet biracial singer/actress Jordan Sparks & another black man were the only two people of color I saw in the audience. The movies nominated for the Epiphany $100,000.00 cash prize were: 42, Black Nativity, Grace Unplugged & Man of Steel. Grace Unplugged won. The TV shows nominated for the Epiphany prize were: The Bible, Blue Bloods, The Cross, Duck Dynasty & Last Man Standing. The Bible won. Ive often heard people say that Sunday is the most racist day of the week; because black & white churches are separated. God is not pleased with the secular world or the religious world, because there are hypocrites in both worlds. And His Word tells us there will always be hypocrites among us. God made it so easy for all men to love each & get along; but Eve (a woman) messed it up & Jesus Christ died to clean up the mess. Closing remark: As they say in the South, its time to turn out the lights & call in the dogs. The Serenity Prayer: God (please) grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, accepting hardships as the pathway to peace & taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it. Trusting that He (God) will make all things right if I surrender to His Will. That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him (God) forever in the next. Amen
