Its just time in the natural order of things. I read on my newsfeed every day a percentage of segregation, empathy that only reaches to a chosen few of like _______ ( mindedness, political point of you... whatever, you fill in the blank). Its no wonder to me that from the same people I see a great deal of self criticism, or a standard impossible to uphold. Family tragedy and along with it an intolerance for the sadness that comes a long with it, or self name calling when common every day occurrences happen that are less than desirable. (the ground root of all of this, incidentally, is judgment. As we judge ourselves, so too we judge others. Quite often what accompanies this perspective is evidence of a lack of self care in some form or another, health, relationship, finances, etc.) Along with such a perspective comes a great deal of internal struggle because, we are soft wired as homo sapiens to have compassion for our fellow man, regardless of where or who they are. Its begging to be expressed on a global level. Up until now the distance away from ourselves we were able to feel it, express it, was directly related to how big our social circle was because of technology. That distance is now global.
